We can’t do it without The FABBAs Community (that’s you!)

FABBAs is a volunteer-driven organization – The small group of trustees that manage everything are often juggling between their day jobs, family commitments and the incredible amount of work it takes to make FABBAs happen. We keep overheads low so all donations on the night can go directly to charity. FABBAs cant happen without volunteers. There are volunteer opportunities available in all aspects of our work.

Make The FABBAs happen… Help on the night, Become a FABBAs Rep, Serve on a committee, Become a Trustee or just help in the office!

Volunteer areas

Event Support

On the night we need at least 20 volunteers to assist in all manners of running the event. Registration, Auction spotters, Raffle sales, Charity advocacy…. No experience is necessary – just a motivated attitude and willingness to learn. We do one briefing about two weeks prior to the event. On the night we mainly need help from 5:00pm till 11:00pm.

FABBAs Representative

FABBAs reps are long time FABBAs supporters and act as advocates within their institution. They create the personal connections and are cornerstones of the FABBAs community.


These volunteers help oversee an operational area and provide support to keep FABBAs running.

 Charity Services – This committee works to find and qualify charities for funding. Volunteers work with interested applicants throughout the application process and continues to support them where possible.

Sponsor Development – Do you like planning events or consider yourself great at raising funds for a good cause?  Our Sponsor Development committee is always working on new ideas to help strengthen the donations that make our event possible.

     Volunteers – Yes, we have a volunteer committee for volunteers! We always need help attracting and retaining volunteers, so if you love talking people into things, this may be a good fit.

Office Work

We often need help in the office. This could be data entry or database management, stuffing envelopes or helping organize records.  If you’re good with computers, we could use your help keeping our files up to date!


Our entire leadership at FABBAs are volunteers; if you are part of the finance community and are passionate about helping others then we’d love to have your vision and talents lead us!
